Fort Lauderdale native Diamond Williams has an insatiable love for everything basketball. During her college tenure at Johnson & Wales University in North Miami, Florida, Diamond earned recognition as Scholar Athlete of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year, and is recognized as the team’s all-time leading scorer. In 2021, she was inducted into Johnson & Wales University North Miami Athletics Hall of Fame.
DW Training was founded in 2020 to honor her father, Dave Williams, who passed away in 2016. He was a pillar of society and volunteered to coach youth football for many years. He was also her mentor and personal basketball coach.
DW Training is a basketball skill development business. It includes basketball training sessions that focus on fundamental skills, such as passing, dribbling, ball handling, shooting form and release, layups, defense, footwork, the triple threat position, pivoting, and foul shooting.
DW Training is built on the pillars of strength, endurance, agility, and flexibility. The backbone of the program is to facilitate the next generation with player development by building confidence, obedience, and attitudes and mindsets that are instrumental in the development of their relationships with themselves, others, and society.
